Bry// service design
Bry was my exam project at designinstituttet (2021).
It's a digital service that makes communication easier for employees in care homes. The app makes everyday life more organized and structured. Bry has many features, including using communication to avoid misunderstandings and surprises. By using the app, one can check the user's mood, eating habits, medications, and log.
Additionally, users can chat with other staff either to ask questions or talk about how they are doing.
All these features together make everyday life more manageable and simplify the lives of the employees. This, in turn, will affect the users, making their lives better in the care homes they reside in.
This project is the most meaningful one I have ever worked on. Actively engaging with users, trying to understand them, and then creating solutions that help them was what inspired me to study service design. My team worked so well together, and we had a lot of fun during the project. This experience has given me a strong desire to combine design and healthcare in my career
I worked on this project in a group with
Ingrid Holsten and Matilde Dreyer Amble.
The project won an award for the exam project of the year.
